Nourish Your Body from the Inside

Eat Clean

A balanced diet high in coloured fruit (blackberries, raspberries and blueberries) and vegetables will nourish your body with the highest concentration of antioxidants and phytonutrients to keep your skin looking younger. Load up on leafy green veggies, citrus fruits and juices, dried peas and beans to decrease the risk of dementia, depression and cognitive decline. Cook with coconut oil, a beauty fat option that promotes glowing skin. Indulge in “good fats” avocados and almonds, to attain Vitamin E.

Keep hydrated

Drink at least 8 glasses a day, add slice of lemon or lime to help flush out toxins whilst boosting your Vitamin C.

Skin Bonus

Add probiotic supplements and probiotic food (dark chocolate and fermented veggies) they not only increase healthy bacteria in the gut but stimulates collagen production, hydrating your skin and reducing fine lines.

Live Healthy for Good Skin!

Beauty Sleep

The simplest of anti-ageing secrets: Aim for 7 to 9 hours of sleep, while you sleep your body repairs itself, releasing a growth hormone that helps to restore collagen and elastin – essential for healthy and youthful skin.

Stress less

The opposite of sleep, stress is the root of all evil. Too much stress increases blood pressure, affects sleeping habits causing you to age prematurely. Take time and treat yourself to some "quiet time" every day. It will nourish your body, soul and relieve a lot of stress.

Get Moving

Breathe deeply and exercise! Swedish researchers found that life expectancy of golfers is five years longer than the rest of the population. Exercise can be anything that causes your heart to beat faster, such as cardiovascular or strength training. An excellent way to give serotonin levels a boost, flush out toxins in your skin, combating the effects of the stress hormone cortisol by releasing “happy” endorphins.

A Natural Path to Optimal Skin

Love the skin you’re in

Commit to a skincare routine and apply it twice a day, every day, without fail. Use natural plant-based products containing active ingredients to fight free radicals, combat the ageing process whilst improving your skin’s structure. If you’re worried about toxins and chemicals, download ‘Think Dirty’ app it helps you figure out exactly what you're slathering on your face, lips, bod (and then washing down the drain) as easy as snapping a picture. Take time out with regular facial treatments to increase cell renewal whilst improving your skin’s tone, clarity and overall health.

Shed the dead

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate to keep skin glowing. If you’re looking for an exfoliating treatment with anti-ageing benefits, then look no further than facial peels. Not only does the fruit acid exfoliate dead surface cells, it’s fantastic for blemishes and scarring, pigmentation, lines and wrinkles for instantly smoother and brighter-looking skin. Safer and more natural than a chemical peel, comfortable, affordable and quick with the sessions taking less than 30 minutes each time.

Protect Your Skin from the effects of the sun

While there are many factors that can affect the health of your skin, the primary cause of premature signs of ageing is repeated (and unprotected) exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays. UV-related damage starts to form in your skin within 15 minutes of being out in the sun and accumulates over time. An accumulation of sun damage in the skin can lead to various signs of premature ageing including fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation (AKA age spots) to skin cancer. Make sure you apply natural sunscreen that protects from both UVA and UVB rays, avoid the midday sun, wear a hat when possible, and protective sunglasses to stop you squinting.
